We Survived The Drop in Wild Wild Wet

We should make this thing (going to Wild Wild Wet) as a tradition. We got one free ticket this January like last year. We went to Wild Wild Wet because we wanted to try the newest attraction which is “Torpedo” (the first of its kind in Singapore, the all-new Torpedo ejects you from an 18-metre-high capsule right into a heart-stopping free fall, which propels you straight into a manic trajectory of hair raising twist and turns at mind-numbing speed of up to 70km/hr. Get set for jar-dropping, hair raising and adrenalin-pumping adventures at Torpedo – taken from the website).

Many people say (I don’t know if it’s true or not) that this Torpedo can only be found in Korea and now Singapore (for Asian countries). So the first time that we arrived, both daddy and the boy went to the Torpedo immediately…………..and yes, they did survived the drop! Did they come back for the second time? Absolutely NOT!!!

They were all trembling when they finally got out from the slide, hahahaha………..and said that it was the first and the last time that they tried the ride! They said they were shocked when they experienced the drop and agreed that it was the scariest ride they ever tried.

I didn’t swim this time, so I just left the boy with daddy. This was also the first time daddy tried Slide Up, and yes…….he said it was the first and the last time too, hahahaha……..

The boy still wanted to ride Slide Up, but daddy said no way……………! Well, maybe next year when we come back again, the boy has already reached the requirement height needed to ride Slide Up alone.

This year, the boy chose to spend most of his time in the lazy river and not the slides anymore. His favorite slide was Ular-lah.

When I already chose and posted the photo, they boy said he wanted to write this post. So I let him write below and make captions of the pictures. He said the next time, he wants to choose the photos too.

Enjoy the post…………….and for your information, he’s not eight years old yet and already considers himself as an eight year old kid since months ago……

Remember me? I’m just eight years old but I’m a dinosaur expert.

Hi there. I'm from Indonesia but now live quite far away from my home country. I love cooking for my family. I learned how to cook for the first time from my mom and I believe that mom's cooking is always the best, and I do hope that my son will feel the same too even though he grows up so fast. I love Indonesian food as I grew up with it, and I promise to myself that my son, although he doesn't live in Indonesia right now, will always like and enjoy authentic Indonesian food. I make this blog so that my family will always remember our togetherness and happy time that we had, are having, and will have when we eat together and have good memories about a mother's love through her dishes. Hopefully these recipes will help other people to make healthy home cooked dishes for their families.
