Bandung Getaway June 2013: De’Ranch Lembang

This was the first place that we visited in Bandung. Located in Jln. Maribaya no. 17, Lembang – Bandung, this place was very easy to find. After taking the Pasteur exit toll, turn left and follow the sign to Lembang Area. Continue through Jalan Setaibudi, then Pasar Lembang, up the way to Jalan Maribaya. There are several signs that will take you easily to the designated place. Entrance fee is Rp.5000,- per person and you can exchange the ticket with one pack of milk.

This certainly is a very huge place, and I mean it’s A VERY BIG and SPACIOUS PLACE. The grass field was big and soo…..green with horses running around in the middle area. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The air was so fresh when we came after the rain. The facilities were quite complete from various food stalls, children playground, horse riding, and other kids and adults play. For detail information please visit their website at http://deranchlembang.com/id/. It is a very recommended place to visit in Lembang Area.

Welcome to De'Ranch

Welcome to De’Ranch

Now here’s the breathtaking view with fresh air. The sky was so white that day. I love the surrounding area and my eyes were really pampered with the green grass and big mountain on the background:

Horse riding surrounding the area was only Rp.20.000,- per person. Lil boy loved it so much and we laughed at my sister who was afraid that she might fall during the trip. Lil boy chose the white horse. Free use of Indian Costume during horse riding. Too bad lil boy refused to wear the costume, otherwise it would make a good photo of him.

Horse Riding

Riding the delman (horse chariot) was also fun for lil boy. The wind breeze was so refreshing:

The farm…..with real cows and chickens:

Just when we were about to go home, lil boy’s eyes were glued to the gold mining play area. Actually we thought he just wanted to play in the water. But he was persistent in searching the gold (rocks with yellow paint). He could exchange the gold with a small souvenir at the end of the game.

Gold Hunter

Exchange the entrance ticket with free milk (with the choice of mocha, strawberry, and melon flavor):

Lil boy really liked the milk

Time to say goodbye to De’Ranch. We loved this place.

Hi there. I'm from Indonesia but now live quite far away from my home country. I love cooking for my family. I learned how to cook for the first time from my mom and I believe that mom's cooking is always the best, and I do hope that my son will feel the same too even though he grows up so fast. I love Indonesian food as I grew up with it, and I promise to myself that my son, although he doesn't live in Indonesia right now, will always like and enjoy authentic Indonesian food. I make this blog so that my family will always remember our togetherness and happy time that we had, are having, and will have when we eat together and have good memories about a mother's love through her dishes. Hopefully these recipes will help other people to make healthy home cooked dishes for their families.
