Everyday Is A Miracle

Be happy and enjoy every single bite of it

Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park (Pond Garden)

There are two parts of Bishan Ang Mo Kio Park; the first one is River Plains and the second one is Pond Garden. They are separated by a road. The one that we visited was the Pond Garden which has water playground for children.

We were there for daddy’s company gathering, and we arrived late so we didn’t get a spot to park. But there is an HDB parking complex opposite the park and there is also a bridge to cross from the HDB  complex to the park. Too bad the bridge doesn’t have special lane for bicycle, so we had to carry lil boy’s bike when crossing the bridge.

I don’t know exactly how to differentiate or where is the exact location of the River Plains and Pond Garden, To make it easier, the one that doesn’t have Mc Donalds inside is the Pond Garden.

This is a huge park surrounding by the HDB, and we could only explore a small part of the park. We actually spent 2.5 hours inside the park, but most of the time was filled with lil boy playing on the water playground.

We were surrounding by fresh air, fresh water, beautiful pond and small lake, and all we could see were green color everywhere (ignore the huge and tall HDB in the background, ok!)……………so yes it was very refreshing. There are many parts of the park that we didn’t explore including the children playground and the big bridge in the middle of the park, but after all it was a satisfying visit for us. Maybe we should try visiting the River Plains too someday.

And now let me show you this park:

Bishan Ang Mo Kio Park

Wooden bridge, rocks, trees, grass, and pond. It feels like we were non in the middle of the busy street

It really freshen up the day to see small boats (run by remote controls)  run in full speed in this small pond

The very long pond along the park

Come with me……this part of the park was very quiet, no one was there except us. We had to go down through a small hill to get here

The water is so fresh and cool. We even saw some small fish swimming inside the pond

And now lil boy is ready to ride the bike. This is my mother in law who was visiting us on that day

Large space to ride the bike

And now we go to the water playground. There are no water bucket, water fountain, or water shower to play with. It was just water streams and a very small pool to share with many children. But this is what makes this place so unique. The blue hills, the water stream, the water gate that can be lowering to stop the water stream, the small lake alike feature, and even the super small pool will give the children so much fun and will make them do not want to stop playing. This water playground area is spacious and not slippery at all, so it really gives children many spaces to run and play. Parents also no need to worry of getting wet when accompanying their children since there are no water bucket or deep pool

Be careful with your feet when lowering the gate

Sliding down……!

” I wonder what will happen if I put this green cup on the water flow……”

See…??? This poll is very small, rite?

This is my cup

Ok, I get my cup now……

Going home…..carrying the bike through the bridge

There are clean toilets near the water playground, but as far as I could see there was no drinking water fountain or food and beverage stalls. So bringing your own drink and food and have a picnic there is probably a good advise. Thankfully this company gathering also provided food for us, so we had a nice picnic near the water playground.

Hi there. I'm from Indonesia but now live quite far away from my home country. I love cooking for my family. I learned how to cook for the first time from my mom and I believe that mom's cooking is always the best, and I do hope that my son will feel the same too even though he grows up so fast. I love Indonesian food as I grew up with it, and I promise to myself that my son, although he doesn't live in Indonesia right now, will always like and enjoy authentic Indonesian food. I make this blog so that my family will always remember our togetherness and happy time that we had, are having, and will have when we eat together and have good memories about a mother's love through her dishes. Hopefully these recipes will help other people to make healthy home cooked dishes for their families.
