Early Wedding Anniversary Celebration at Charlie Brown Cafe

Why Charlie Brown Cafe?

Rafael and I picked this place. Daddy would just follow us wherever we wanted to go. Since daddy had to go on business trip on the 2nd of July, so we decided to have an early lunch celebration. We chose Charlie Brown because the boy is a fan of Snoopy, and since taking him to a restaurant to dine out is not an easy thing to do (he must like the food or the decoration or he must be super duper hungry to make him sit still), so we must get our boy’s agreement before going to the restaurant.

Rafael was the most exciting person in this case, especially when I promised him the pepperoni pizza that he can order once we get there, plus the ice cream too of course.

We knew that we weren’t looking for a romantic getaway for us since it’s quite impossible, so we just looked for a nice place to hangout and have fun together. And it did turned out to be fun for all of us, thanks to Charlie Brown and his friends especially Snoopy.

For information about the place and the food prize, you can see in their website. The pizza was good, although I still prefer Marzano or Phd. I think there was not enough pepperoni and too many mushroom in each slice. I like my drink (peach strawberry). The dessert was good (I like the cookies ice cream).

We went home in full stomach and happy faces as you can see below.

Here is Charlie Brown Cafe

Charlie and friends in the cafe

Inside the cafe (the table, menu, and lamps)

Our food, the caramel milk which I didn’t capture the photo, looked the same as vanilla milk. Charlie Combo was quite big actually, but the fries were plain, so my son added salt and Parmesan cheese into the fries. The pizza was thin and crispy, but we still prefer PHD for this kind of pizza

Let’s eat, we’re so hungry

Happy faces (look who’s the happiest of all)

Take a walk before we have our dessert

Dessert time. Snoopy chocolate is a crepe with chocolate sauce inside and vanilla cookies ice cream. I like the ice cream better that the crepe because I think the crepe is too sweet

The Food:

1. Chicken Rice $12.80

2. Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza $13.80

3. Charlie’s Combo $18.80

4. Vanilla Milk & Caramel Milk $ 4.50, Peach Strawberry Regular $5.50

5. Vanilla Ice Cream one scoop $4.50  , Snoopy Chocolate $9.80

Total Cost $74.2

Let’s end the day by playing in 313 Somerset Rooftop Playground before going home. For more information about the playground please see here.

Hi there. I'm from Indonesia but now live quite far away from my home country. I love cooking for my family. I learned how to cook for the first time from my mom and I believe that mom's cooking is always the best, and I do hope that my son will feel the same too even though he grows up so fast. I love Indonesian food as I grew up with it, and I promise to myself that my son, although he doesn't live in Indonesia right now, will always like and enjoy authentic Indonesian food. I make this blog so that my family will always remember our togetherness and happy time that we had, are having, and will have when we eat together and have good memories about a mother's love through her dishes. Hopefully these recipes will help other people to make healthy home cooked dishes for their families.
